Initially founded with the idea to launch a luxury motor yacht brand under the Palumbo umbrella, the brand has evolved into the renowned Palumbo Superyachts division, earning international acclaim for its exceptional craftsmanship, performance and design. Since its early days, Columbus Yachts has experienced remarkable growth and success. In 2011, the brand gained global recognition with the launch of its inaugural yacht, the 54-metre Prima, and Columbus Yachts has only expanded since then. Currently constructing four semi-custom series to offer their discerning customers a range of choices; this includes its  Atlantique, Crossover, Sport, and Classic series. Making its official debut in the superyacht segment in 2019 with the launch of the 80m Dragon, a Columbus Classic 80, other notable Columbus Yachts include the majestic 57-metre Taiba and the resplendent 40-metre Eleonora III.
